Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and design and develop the related software architecture and implementation plan for business wide Digital initiatives
- Lead the research and evaluation of third party technologies, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities
- Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams)
- Defining the architecture and standards for a seamless data flow and integrated business logic between various applications
- Apply and review code against related software development standards, guidelines, design practices, cyber security requirements and legal instructions to design reliable and compliant products.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and supervise and guide software developers.
- Drive an support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentor others throughout their domain to connect people throughout the digital team and across multiple departments
Your Profile:
- Bachelor or Master (is a plus) degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related fields
- Extensive experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development (Java, Spring Boot, Python, ReactJS).
- Very strong experience in designing, developing and deploying software applications at scale using highly available architecture patterns on public cloud providers like as Amazon, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Experience with large scale distributed platform experience event-driven architecture, Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with modern data storage engines for timeseries and relational data in distributed environments like Clickhouse and postgres/mysql
- Affinity to design software on a high quality, performance and maintainability level
- Knowledge regarding software development and related processes (Agile)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.502,64 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
